Abuse of power, manipulating the market, double standards and more.

Hello Sythe support team,

I was told no one reads more than 3 lines so I hope in this occasion that this isn't true.

My name is Johnathan , during my time here I've noticed a few things that don't add up with the way things are ran and relatively confused by all of the aforementioned.

You have moderators @Tyler who are "harassing users on spam forums" based off the same terminology I was given a recent infraction IE discord however when a user IE myself does the same thing I get an infraction.

Bond holders not mentioning there is a donation system of the site itself instead trying to get their rates VIA donation while costing the site possible donations and people given this rank should care more about taking care of the site than themselves, if they are bondholders only for the profits its confusing for new users of the platform.

Mods with access to personal information @Tyler speaking about placing "bets" on the longevity of other providers openly in a discord server where possible clients may reside of said user. IE myself and that is how I knew of it occurring hence the post I made in spam.

I do not feel Tyler is a mod for the right reasons however to use his power to support hopes team for financial gains, even if this means to damage other providers along the way.

I was told this was common practice however no one mentioned that unless I was already participating it was considered "harassment" therefore I proceeded to follow the lead of the team member mentioned.

Also there is a favoritism when it comes to providers and mods that one wouldn't expect in such a business environment especially when a mod is teaming up with a provider as his shield to the drama his team members create.

There hasn't been once I've knowingly broke a rule, that being said I've only tried to support the communities I enter with respect unless someone attacks me personally IE an entire team / group of people providing services.

Also another form of abuse I'm noticing is when users offer "hourly" rates then outsource the work to workers who aren't producing at a rate which can be considered legitimate @Bravos for example. They tell a user it takes an x time but in all honestly they milk the clients and in my opinion this is scamming, it happened to one of my clients and that client had his negative feedback removed forcing us to open a dispute with proof of his attempt to scam user for 2 bond but there was not a TWC or DNT during this period which from what I've seen is the rules. It shouldn't require us to open a dispute in the first place after a negative feedback is removed to get results, said user should have been contacted about this prior to you deleting this feedback. I should not as a provider have to reach out to staff for a clients other trades to get him what he was clearly promised from the start.


I'm not the type of person to start something with anyone, however when myself or someone of innocent nature is being victimized in anyway I will stand up to the world for them no matter how it appears to the ignorant few who wish to demean said situation.

You can be assured I'm here with good intentions , love and respect for my fellow humankind.

This site seems to revolve around a select few who have control over the image of it all and those few who are this should hold themselves to higher standards.

All I'm asking for is an open and free market without having to jump through hoops to get results, nor having infractions over following the lead of team members doing the same things.

@Tyler has obviously shown he is willing to scam someone when he thinks the opportunity will go unnoticed as well his teammate @Hope posting on almost every service providers thread to "wish them luck" clearly attempting to use their thread as a marketing tool for possible clients of the new members as well gain post counts.

Rarely will I comment on someones said thread if they themselves have posted or I've seen them around prior/I personally need said service for an account.

I do not feel safe with @Tyler having access to my personal/sensitive/messages/ details at all with the amount of business I do and I'm sure there are many others that feel the same way as conversed prior to me posting this. He openly states his intentions via a "spam forum" IE discord without me being present so that is not trolling as referenced here.


He should have been given an infraction here.

Then I would have known to leave @Hope out of the topic in spam, however I was told this is common practice , since I wasn't in discord as a spam forum I thought the same applied to the legitimate forums to troll someone not present.



However he was not because he has been getting away with worse behaviors than this for much longer than I have been around. They abuse others and as soon as someone reciprocates their actions the said user is targeting in more way than one.

He clearly had the intentions of scamming the said user do to his ban and I'm sure @Tyler still uses said account and doesn't have an intention of selling it again < IE he was hoping he could keep the account or even had intentions of recovering at some point due to him never selling again.

I would like this to be an official report of noted issues in the community and said users @Hope uses everyone around him as a shield to the negativity he creates and I wish you could see this yourselves as staff members.

I would also like to appeal the infraction due to being mislead by @Tyler and his actions. I wouldn't of tagged hope if there wasn't an official moderator doing exactly as I would do, I would also like tyler to receive an infraction as he should clearly know the rules to not mislead new members into said mistakes.

@Zero thank you for your time yesterday and making me feel somewhat better about the people trolling me, however I feel another step needs to be made to prevent @Tyler from continuing the way he treats others on this site. @Sythe please take the time as well as this entire situation is due to one of your appointed mods that was clearly little to no respect for anyone else other than his group of friends he offers services with.

Thank you, I know most will say TL;DR <new term to me as that is extremely disrespectful in times of serious situations.

You are one of those I mentioned here at are ignorant and trying to demean the situations at hand. I am not scared nor do I intend to be made out to be fearful of these few who use their names to take advantage of others.

As you mentioned it is a market place not a safe place, so why is Tyler allowed to protect hope and scam others in the past?

If its an open market then he should of had an infraction for the same thing I did in spam.

Stop being bias and actually take into account these users are affecting other providers not just myself and clients as well.

I must admit the comment about his title did make me laugh.

Especially after the whole "advocating ourselves" and such, when we simply said our opinion as trusted users. And no, a donation rank doesn't make you trusted like he feels to include.

 

I understand your opinion and the title may be immature but I'm done playing games with these 2 specifically, Tyler abuses his power , tried scamming for well over $1300 in gp and ends up getting mod after.

The admins should have known how he was prior to making him mod, and the fact he is a shield for Hope isn't something mod should be doing. He uses his power wrong and I'm definitely not the only one who feels this way fam.

I really appreciate you reaching out but their both scummy in their practices so as I mentioned I will show them the other side of the sword.

They both had love and respect from me until I woke up to these pictures from a client as well everything else I've slowly started seeing that they are doing and have done.

The fact that Tyler tried scamming Sky and got mod was absurd, he obviously uses his power for financial gains and not to moderate as he should.

I simply want him blocked from seeing my IP/messages I send/receive from clients as he has made it clear he cannot wait for me to be "banned" or gone. He has openly scammed / attempted to scam for large amounts of currency I'm completely at loss of words to why he is a mod, especially allowed to do trading as the face for someone else who if I'm not mistaken coasted on his power and still does. He is a true threat to myself and other providers progress it's obvious .

I highly doubt if he had his mod / current situation he would be as "loyal" to his clients , he would probably scamquit the first chance he got if he knew he was losing these benefits/ if he knew he could take advantage of someone he would.

Not post accusatory statements of my business partner, not only without proof, but when he does not participate in the spam forum.

You can see all of your infractions under your warnings tab, if you have warning points there its for rule breaking.

If you think people shouldn't be able to offer hourly rates try suggesting that here: Suggestions

He does that simply because he is legitimately welcoming a new service provider to Sythe. Hope also actively communicates with other service providers to share tips and help out other people. It appears your over analyzing this to make Hope the "bad guy".

Hi scammers are banned on Sythe and must repay their debts/pardon to be unbanned/un DNT'd. I was never banned or DNT'd.

The account in question was recovered (I'm assuming by the first person I sold it to). After that Sky did not want the account back and wanted a refund. After he requested a refund, I got the username and all the items on the account transferred back over to him Once that had been completed I refunded him for the account (which was required) but also opted to pay him money for all of the skilling he had completed on the account (which I was not required to do)

In addition, that account is banned. (rwt) I'm assuming for everything that happened during that little escapade. Please don't post libel saying I scammed Sky as that just is not true

 

@Tyler You clearly broke the rules by attacking me on discord forum without me participating in it which I have posted pictures of above. Lets do one at a time here, and focus on that first.

I followed your lead by talking about him in the spam forum, zero clearly stated that discord is considered a spam forum and you harassing my name there is wrong by said standards IE the infraction I was given.

Based off the rules you and infraction I was given you yourself were breaking these rules by speaking on me in the discord in such a manner, I shouldn't have to wake up to a Sythe mod taking bets on my longevity.

I think this is a great learning opportunity for Yellow_Hat and for all of us, we've all made a mistake sometime so I do not ask for an excuse, but I do get a bit understanding. In the end we are all here for the same purpose, which is to make this a professional way of life ... thanks to all for the learning. I'm sure it will provide many more positive reflections than it seems at this time

I can say that Yellow Hat is an honest and very professional boy, in a few days he has taught me a lot about nothing practically and we are supporting and striving to make things more professional.

He is also helping many to generate income for his family and is very responsible with the payments.

I know that this will be a door for better things to happen in the future with your services.

If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen. This isn't a safe space and users like yourself who give the reaction people are trying to get from you encourage it. This thread is just going to make it so much worse, you can't take the trolling so it will intensify for that reason. I'd have thought someone who makes twenty three million dollars per day would have had better insight into how your obnoxious personality might make you a target.

 

I read the entire thing but honestly couldn’t stand reading it, the way he types, almost like intentionally trying to be Shakespeare when shaming an innocent mod (in my eyes). I dont see a problem with Tyler. He also replied piece by piece to your accusation. I don’t support this thread against him at all, and like blackblasses said, I think this is the wrong section for all this.

 

There are better ways to go about this and in a more appropriate manner as suggested above. Use the proper formats and sections for the people you are making claims of rather than posting reports or making claims that tarnish the names of your competitors or people you are unhappy with. Also, although the relevance of this may not be important,I do agree with a few of your points as I have personally seen similar things to some of what you mentioned.

Bond holders only make money via the fee they charge, they buy a donation rank from the site I believe through Matthew & then sell them, for a fee. So this is not effecting Sythe.org’s finance in any other way then positively

 

I thought Bond Holders were assigned? It's a position that you can buy from Richard?

 

They are assigned. The position can't be bought, it requires an insane amount of trust to acquire.
