about to get my iphone jailbroken

about to get my iphone jailbroken. want to make sure of a few stuff first.

1. is it legal
2. can it get bricked if it fails
3. what is percentage chance of it getting bricked? any of u gotten it bricked?
4. does the warranty still apply if it gets bricked

Chances of it getting bricked are as low as 1% If it fails, just do a full restore. I'm not sure if it's legal or not, it depends in which country you are and once you've jailbreaked it, it voids the warrenty but just do a restore and nothing happened

 

Check out this guy on youtube 'koi2281' find out your firmware then look in his videos for a jailbreak with your firmware, really easy, its not illegal i dont think.

Dont risk it, Some phones get bricked.
But its all up to you.

 

1. It is legal. It just depends on what you do after it's jailbroken.
2. Yes it can. But chances of it happening are close to nothing.
3. I've had my iPhone for a little over a year. Never bricked.
4. Not sure about that once. Apple has great customer support, though.

I've taken my iPhone into the Apple store whenever it needed fixing. They've always fixed it right there in the store, free of charge.

4. does the warranty still apply if it gets bricked- no, not if they can tell that it is jailbroken. When i had an ipod touch, it was jailbroken and got damaged, brought it in to the apple store and they couldn't tell that it was jailbroken or not. They just gave me a new one

 

Not even worth having an Iphone if you aren't going to jailbreak it IMO.

 

1. Yes it is legal.
2. Yes.
3. Toss a coin 10x and have them all land on heads. It's practically possible, but for the most part a statistic. Mine didn't get bricked, and nor did any of my friends.
4. Warranty is voided.

For the record, I will say that having a jail broken iphone has many benefits, including $100's of free apps, and even more paid apps available which are unavailable on the regular apple store.
