About the server outage, DoS?

Mod Craddock says they suspect its an "isolated incident", but it also happened yesterday! (Although yesterday only the core login server failed) Today it got worse! and even the forums server, ads server, login server got affected.

I highly suspect runescape is suffering a DoS (Denial of Service attack) in which people intentionally flood the server with requests so that it just stops replying to normal user requests.

The ads server, the login server and the forums server are located at different computers and even different locations (you can check that trough their ip). I dont see any reason, other than a DoS for them to stop working at the same time.

I think jagex should investigate on that line, what do you think?

i know wtf 1 sec im in wrold 2 then..... every1 logfs out.. world 2 is deserted .. im the last 1 but then i log all of a sudden... what kinda BS is that!?

see... i think there is a hacker goin on... nothing is isolated when it effects the whole login process... im gona also investigate this matter.. as far as i can get as your standerd rs member... il giv u info as i get it.. not sure if thers much left 2 figure out though

 

if you ddos runescape the goverment will come after you because its not legal so your going to jail
