About RotMG

As I was browsing the threads in this section looking for a online game to try, I came across threads discussing favorite monsters to kill, best drops, ect ect with no name on it. I decided to google the items in the thread and I found this game.

I haven't been playing very long and I can already say it's a very addicting game haha. Currently I made a level 5 wizard, deleted it, then a level 5 priest, and deleted it so I could start an archer. (only 1 spot for a character so I had to delete)

Something on my mind though, since you lose the character and items on death.
What do you guys do when you die? I thought about it, and it seemed like I would get demotivated to play again if I got to a high level and awesome gear, and then just lost it all.

Also, general help thread because I have no idea what I'm doing besides killing the monsters it tells me to haha. Are there quests, or is it just hunt down and kill.

Be prepared to die and lose stuff, happens to everyone. The center of the map is where the harder monsters are located. The quests are good to level up as a lower level player.

 

The quests are the hunting down and killing.

Hop on a god lands train at level 1 and hide behind rocks. Easiest way to level and get good at dodging.

Reaching level 20 is not an achievement.

Maxing character stats is the only thing most people care about losing when they die.

I recommend not putting good gear on a character until you're ready to start maxing them. It's also a good idea to make a second character to gather pots for the one you want to max.
