About off-site ban

I was banned on epic npc for selling a league account. The person who bought the account got it banned for scripting then said he couldn't log in asking me to recover it. After I recovered the account I seen it was permanently banned and he opened a dispute saying I recovered the account because he wanted the money back for the account that he'd gotten banned. I had no evidence to prove I'm not the one who scripted on the account so I was banned while the guy attempted to scam me.
