About buying Steam cd keys.

Hello.

I'm concerned about buying Steam cd keys, can I get hacked buying these cd keys?

Who sell the keys can contact Steam support, send a "proof of purchase" (scan, photo of the actual retail cd key) and get my account?

I'm just asking because I've seen a lot of cheap cd keys, particularly Portal 2 and the Dead Island ones.

No you can't get hacked by buying cdkeys

And Steam Support asks for proof of purchase when u lose or your account gets hacked. Thats when they ask for proof of purchase also know as "POP"

Your account may get banned though if the CD keys get blacklisted and you use those to activate the game. Mostly keys sold are illegit ones if they are cheap
