    Abortion?

Example: Father wants to have a baby and the mother and father argree on it, he knocks her up, a few weeks later, HEY she changed her mind, it shouldn't matter if the fetus is in the womans body, there is a living person in there, and if they did agree at first to have a child, i believe the father has rights to say "No she is not getting it" or take it to court.

Its not real to you, because the only thing that matters to you, is seeing an actual devlepoed baby, or kid, or adult, the baby is alive in the fetus, and developing.

You say it's a living person - how so?

It's a lump of tissue that is alive, yes. Why does it receive rights?

You gotta think about it man that lump of tissue is ALIVE, and is growing arms, legs, everything we have. And one day it comes out and looks like us.
it shouldn't be just up to the mother to take ones life.

But it doesn't have them yet. Until it does, and until it can get up and walk and think, it's a lump of tissue with potential.

It would have to have rights for that to happen. When does it receive these rights?

You put up one good argument xD.
But one day that person will have rights, and its not up to the mom to end its life, but the child itself, would you want someone to say *idk ur name so ill use ur user xD* "Oh i dont want shredderbeam anymore, lets kill him"
thats pretty much how it goes, people shouldn't decide when we die.

If the fetus will have rights "one day", then it doesn't have rights now. Why is it wrong to kill a being with no rights?

Yes one day, because its wrong because ina way they still do have rights. We cannot speak for them, tell if they wona die or not, so why should they have to, with no say?
What gives us the right to do that to someone?

Why do they have rights, though? What is it about the nature of the fetus that grants it any rights at all?

Well, like ive been saying the fetus has rights because it has a living person inside of it. the fetus should be protected by law, the mother shouldn't have that right to kill a person, even if its only developing, because one day it will have rights, if they get pregnat, they should have to go though with birth, and if they want give it up for adoption,so the child can have a real life, and not let it be tooken, without the baby saying "sure kill me"

    Abortion?

Abortion is perfectly fine. It is up to a responsible parent to make the decision whether they want the fetus aborted or not. The baby is not a human yet, it still relies on the mother too allow it to live. So technically, it isn't a human, it is just a fetus which is leeching from a mother.

The fetus does not have a living person inside of it.

The fetus will become a full-fledged human, yes, but can you explain how potential grants rights?

The point is, for me, I believe a living child, even if its in the works of developing should not be killed by a mothers choice.

"In humans, the fetal stage of prenatal development starts at the beginning of the 11th week in gestational age (the 9th week after fertilization)."

In any case, does a human with no brain receive rights?

You can abort up to 13-14 weeks.

I don't care if you would kill someone mentally retarded just because their brain doesn't function properly.
But it would be the same thing.

    Abortion?

Actually, instead of seeing you criticising other peoples opinion, I would like to see yours, without quoting or pointing out something in other posts.

Like if you got the question :
What do you think of Abortion?

I myself, I have my for and against about abortion.
If you're going to abort, do it as soon as possible, waiting almost 3 months, that's when I consider it extremely wrong.

I think "young" people should have the right to abort, because of their future (not saying what they are doing is right.).
Older people, should know what they are doing, and should be prepared for the worse.
If it was rape, well, I would defiantly see abortion as an option.

I'm mainly for it, but a post on the first page, kind of annoyed me..
THAT is what I see as EXTREMELY WRONG!

Shredderbeam's opinions should be clear from what he's been saying about your own.

What's the difference between a 10-week old fetus and a bunch of sperm and ova?
