Able to play SC2 enjoyably?

So my friends have convinced me to get SC2, although my laptop does meet the minimum requirements it does not meet the recommended because of the graphics card and the processor is dual 2.0 instead of 2.4. Would SC2 still run well on low or would I have to just skip this?

 

In my experience, for any Blizzard game if your computer doesn't surpass the recommended requirements, you're in for a lot of lag.

I'd recommend just upgrading your graphics card.

Hey, go to starcraft's website and download their demo for free. Play a game and see how it plays, that was if it works, you know you can go out and buy it. If not, you saved yourself some money!

 

Did this. The game plays decently on medium settings, but with some on low it ran completely smooth.

i got
intel core i5-430m 2.26ghz
4gb ram
Radeon 5470

game runs on high with little lag... medium only lags when theres a lot of stuff on the map, low never lags

my friend plays with a dual core 1.8ghz on low you should be fine
