Ability to tag a user to a thread in report a scammer

moderators have alot on their plate, merging threads in rasc should not be one of them.

So if we has some kind of system where if I put a report a scammer post up I can tag the user that im reporting and that user would have the ability to post.

keep in mind it would only be optional, and there would be no notification for tagging these users because of impostering, false reports ect.




Example.


I report Ilovegold69 in a thread in report a scammer. I tag the Sythe member Ilovegold69 and add it to the thread. Ilovegold69 can now add posts to the thread without having a moderator merge it.



I dont really see a downside to this suggestion. If you can think of something post away. I dont know anything about coding or anything about websites so this may not be possible. It would also help if you could tag somebody to a thread who has evidence on the subject.

It is spam, you're not stating WHY you think that.

And this won't be possible even if it was approved, you can't assign perms to one thread, only for a whole section. Forum permissions don't work in the way you are suggesting.

I disagreed, and me saying not necessary means it's not needed to function properly/more effectively. What do you think I mean by "not needed"?

If you're gonna add tags it should be everywhere. This specific section would be useless.

except for the reasons I mentioned. but sure.

 

The moderator gets modscore for dealing with the report, so any merging/cooperation they organise whilst dealing with the report is compensated for, for lack of a better word.

 

Modscore aside, it was to help out to make it less work for you guys. I know one time Astrola got banned because somebody merged the wrong threads together.

Regardless, If its not possible to code on a forum then I understand.
