A Search-Option Suggestion

This is a small suggestion and I will get to the point. It may or may not even be possible, but I don't see why it would be beyond any of our limits.

If anyone is like me when it comes to buying accounts, etc, they want to purchase from highly trusted users.

My suggestion is to simply implement a way to search a forum by member type. For example, say I'm searching through Pure Accounts, Accounts Level 60-99. It would be useful in this case, seeing as I don't want to deal with the 100+ accounts to find one person who's highly trusted, to implement a way to narrow down the forum to staff-member posted threads only. So if a moderator, or OMM, or Admin, etc, post a thread - we can find it quicker.

Just an idea.

 

This cant be done sorry, because then an administrator would have to move the trusted people into a group that signifys that and it would also be hard to do,

Doubt this could be done, it's common knowledge to know who is trusted and reliable regardless, you learn as you go along.

 

Example Alternative:

Go to RuneScape Markets > Pures and Skillers > Characters: Levels 60-99

Press Ctrl + F

Type Jeff. (But seriously, type any Sythe members' username who you feel is trusted)

Hit Enter.

Ta-da.

This would give an 'advantage' over newcomers trying to sell an account.

 

No support, there would be some problems. What if one of those "trusted users" scammed. It's easy to check who is trusted, and who is not.

 

if this happened newcomers wouldn't be able to sell! Making it alot harder for them to become one of the trusted!

 

Would be like the worst thing that could be added.

Staff/OMM's aren't more trusted than other members. Most of the staff members don't trade often.

If there was something like this added, would be better if it just limited to people with so many vouches.

Regardless, both ideas are bad.

Especially considering alot of trusted people don't sell acc's.

 

I'm pretty sure at this point that rules that give an unfair advantage to trusted traders are practically DNS. Trusted traders have to work for their trust, and we need to allow them to do so
