A Pures Guide to Metal Drags [Range]
What do I need?
For iron drags i'd recommend having atleast 70 range, but 80+ range is strongly recommended. You will need the following things.
34 Agility
34 Woodcutting
-16x Antifire Potion(4).
-4x Range Potion(4).
-7x Shark/Monkfish.
-A teletab for banking.
-A Glory Amulet/House teleport if your is in karamja.
-Nature Runes and a Fire/Lava staff for alching drops.
-An axe
-Atleast 850gp for entry fee.
-Any hat/Robin hoot hat if your confident
-Fury/glory
-Leather Body
-Black D'hide chaps
-Black D'hide vambraces
-Rune c'bow
-Antifire sheild
-Ring of life or a Ring of wealth (wealth doesn't seem to help me, so I bring life)
-Accumulator/cape
-Emerald bolts(e) or above (1k+)
-Ranger boots/any boots
How do I get there?
To get there use your glory amulet to teleport to karamja and go west to brimhaven, into a small area of jungle and just a bit south you will see a small mining patch with a dungeon entrance. To enter the dungeon you must pay Saniboch 850gp.
When you enter the cave head down the stairs west and you'll come across some vines, this is where you need your axe, cut down the vines and continue west until you come across a junction.
Once your at the junction take the north-west route.
Follow the path and you'll come across some lava with stepping stones in them, this is why you need 34 agility. Hop across the stones and continue south.
Once you've jumped the stepping stones keep heading south east, past the dogs and Fire Giants until you come across some more vines.
Cut them and continue on to the next set of vines!
Go slightly west and you'll be in a pit with Black Demons, it might be a good idea to protect melee here. Head south from there.
Congratulations, you've reached your destination! Time to kill those dragons and hope for the best drops.
How should I kill them and what do they drop?
To kill the dragons I would recommend staying atleast 3 steps away from the dragon so that it can't melee you. You should range pot when you feel you need to and you should use a dose of Antifire Potion once the dragons breath starts hitting you again. (don't worry, it only hits a max of 5 if you have the Antifire Sheild on). Each dragon without a Accumulator takes around 35-50 bolts at 80 range, and about 15-20 with the accumulator.
