A little help..(Win7)

Ok, so basically I accidentally extracted a folder to my desktop and it was immediately filled with icons (html files) and there were so many that they went of my desktop view, but say im going to upload a file from my desktop they are visible there (I tried to delete them from here but it wont let me). So pretty much if i had a second monitor i could see them, but i don't. im on a laptop and it is bugging me knowing they are there. Thanks for any help

 

Go to the start menu, then computer, then desktop (under favorites), and just highlight all the ones and hit delete. I think this is what you are asking
