A guide to 99 cooking!

Well, hello everyone. This is 99 cooking, making his first post here at sythe a guide to 99 cooking. Ok, well first of all, before you should even start to attempt this, you should have a LOT of money (5-8m). In this guide I will give you 2 versions. First for non members, then for members.

Non Member:

1-25
Head over to the Grand Exchange. Buy raw shrimp and bring them to Lumbridge Castle. Upon arriving, go up to the 3rd floor. There you will see a bank, and outside, some logs on the ground. Withdraw one tinderbox, and 27 raw shrimp. Run outside the bank, right click on the logs, then click light. After you are done lighting the fire, use the raw shrimp on the fire. Then it will say "How many would you like to cook?" Right click, and press all. Now you will sit back and watch as your player does all the work. Now when your inventory is done, run back and repeat from bank.

26-50
Well now, you have to go back to the grand exchange, and buy raw trout. Once you have bought these, proceed back to Lumbridge Castle, and repeat the process shown above.

50-74
Now that you know what the process is, I will just tell you what to buy and cook. Raw Tuna

74-99
Lobsters (you may always switch over to swordfish if you would like, but after 74, you never burn a lobster again.)


Members Style:

Ok, now the spot to cook ALL of your fish if your member, would be the rouges den. There is a fire there that never goes out, and is like 2 steps from the banker. First thing before you actually start cooking though, is to get the cooking gauntlets. These gloves help you when cooking tremendously.

1-90
Cook the same things as shown above for non-members.

*Side note, at 92 you are halfway there (congrats!).

90-94
Monkfish. They are incredibly easy to buy raw, as well as sell cooked. Starting at 90, you will never burn them again (WITH cooking gauntlets).

94-99
Sharks. This will be the most costly part in your cooking journey, seeing as raw sharks cost over 300 gp more than cooked ones, which means you will be loosing money every time you cook one.

99 COOKING!! Yay! Now you may go to the cooking guild, located Southwest of the Grand Exchange, and buy a cape/hood from him!

6/10 Knowing that a cooking guide wouldnt be very hard to make I could have 70 cooking and tell you how to get 99 cooking just stating the obvious but a good overall guide.. for a 10/10 would be pics for narbs =]

what sucks was i was a member and did lobsters all the way to 99... trust me, it sucks bad. but its cheaper.

 

Nice guide 9/10. Explained some things that were unknown to me.

 

3/10 add some pictures, and a list of when you won't burn any of the fish you listed with cooking gaunts.

 

This is pretty much the method I used to get my 99 cooking, I made 2mil getting 99 back in the day. When raw sharks where 770ea and cooked where 1kea for pkers.

 

not bad mate. overall i give it an 8/10 for good information easy to understand but just needed a few piccies for us narbs

 

Very good detailed guide I liked it very much. It helped me alot.

 

I would reccomend lobsters to 80... Swordies to 90... Monks to 94... Sharks to 99 its what i did and its the fastest (not cheapest) method and it cost me around 6.5m
