    A good car to buy?

So I'm looking to buy either a BMW or an Audi most likely around the year of 2007-2009, I live in Canada and wanted to know which would be better, one thing to remember is we get messed up winters so RWD wouldn't be a good idea but the car would stay in the garage for majority of the winter unless it absolutely needed to be taken out. I'm looking to buy it around late August/ early September around this time I'll have around $40k to spend possibly more. The car needs to be a sedan, decent seating space, could look into an SUV as well. I would like it to have decent gas mileage.

If you guys know any other good cars post em here and a reason why its worth buying. I need a luxury car as the business I'm looking to go into will require it.

    Currently looking into this: http://www.autotrader.ca/a/BMW/5 Series/NORTH YORK/Ontario/5_10204857_ON20090603110425483/
    and: http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-veh...MIUM-QUATTRO-LOW-KMS-Sedan-W0QQAdIdZ277660322

    Thanks. :)

Look on craiglist.. first best place to browse around. I do not like owing so if so keep it at less than 15% of total price. Also keep in mind maintenance to up keep the car in best running shape.

Try ebay and going to a used car dealer ship.

And craigslist as someone already said.

I owned an audi A4 and I can tell you from experience, it is one of the best cars I've ever driven. With its AWD you'll have no problem driving in the snow, I personally have never gotten stuck in the snow and it drives very smoothly in it.

If you ever get into a wreck these cars will be pretty pricey to fix up, hope you know that.
I'd get a BMW personally, they look fancier, and more comfortable.

You have more money than I ever will to spend on a car, so here is my pick:

    http://www.edmunds.com/audi/a4/2011/

In case you think I'm phishing:
EDIT: It automatically adds links to text, who knew? Just google 2011 audi a4. It's in your price range and fits the req's.

I know the price range of the maintenance but it isn't much compared to the monthly income after I'm done my tests

Been looking on ebay but most are bids and mostly private owners, more interested in a dealer which can provide a warranty

Thanks for the input so far Audi's getting good reviews :) always best to hear from people who have drove the cars before.

I use to love Subaru cars but I mainly liked the sports designs and the business I'm going into wouldn't really bring clients with a Subaru :p

I know the cost of maintenance of these cars, the doors alone go for $4k each but I'll be earning anywhere from $4k- $15k/ real estate deal.

Thanks considering this since its less then what I plan to pay, good looking, and Audi so far from what I've found has had no bad reviews.
