The only problem with their 'cure' is that it can't reverse the damage HIV has done to the already existing cells, and our immune system cannot reverse the damage either.

Three things:

1). Letting nature solve this problem will result in AIDS blowing completely out of control, and decimating most of the population.

2). People with AIDS can still live life, and enjoy it, without spreading their disease. Killing all of them is NOT a viable solution. You'd have worldwide revolution on your hands.

3). The government does not have a cure. Don't be paranoid.

Chad, if cheap/free testing is available everywhere, and this drug can be given to people who have newly contracted it, then it's an eventual cure. Those with HIV will eventually die.

Well that was the most well thought out solution I've ever seen...NOT! You know, there are people who have who aren't black or gay.

I say this is great. Anything that can at least slow the spreading of the disease, let alone stop it, would give hope to the millions of people who are told that they are going to die.

HIV can be transmitted through other means, not solely sex.

So, the guy has the cure, but he cannot tell us in case people steal the cure from him? How believable.

He'll only release it to American companies if they pressure the U.S. government to remove his name from the terrorism watchlists? What a fucking asshole! How self-oriented can you be?
