A couple questions

I haven't played in a couple years, when did the free world expand to include burthorpe? And is anyone else having a problem with their music level resetting itself all the time? Every time I rejoin and sometimes in the middle of a session my music level sets itself to 0.

 

I believe Burthrope and Taverly were expanded to F2P around the time the EOC beta was released last summer.

With RS3 they moved over the music portion of the game to dedicated servers so that along with the bugs that naturally come with an update this big it's probably just a small glitch. Should be sorted soon-ish.

 

No idea about the music thing, it's probably lag because of the new sounds they added.

They added Taverly/Burthope a few months ago because they wanted F2P members to experience some of the P2P member items/content and mainly because they wanted more people to splash cash on memberships.

 

This exactly I guess it made sense too considering that Burthorpe/Taverly contain all of the skill tutors now, as well.

F2P players can also train members skills up to level 5 as well ^_^
