Pearl Harbor Conspiracy

I was Researching 9\11 Conspiracy theories when i stumbled acrossed a youtube comment that suggested that pearl harbor was also a government implemented event. Watch this documentary and express your opinions, this shocked me to say the least. I don't know how to imbed videos or anything, so all i have is a link, It's a time worthy watch.

I don't have the time to watch it at the moment, so I may edit this later on but I highly doubt this holds any value. A lot of people try to find conspiracies in everything, and while some can be true this is one that from just reading the title I can probably guess isn't.

The reason this was interesting to me is because i didn't even think people shot conspiracy theories at events like Pearl Harbor. i watched the video and it pointed things out that make it seem realistic just like every other conspiracy video. So i posted it on sythe to get everybody else's opinions on the matter.

The US-Japan relations were non-existent at the time. There is 0% chance that Pearl Harbor was a conspiracy. If the US wanted war, they would have declared it. We managed to stay out of Europe for 5 years while France and the UK were getting raped. Why would be want to fight in the Pacific? And why would we want 1/2 our Navy to be destroyed if we were going to fight in the Pacific? If it was a conspiracy, they would have made it a (relatively) small scaled attack.

Clearly your collectivist notions of "the people" and "the country" get in the way of seeing why anyone wants war. The government wants war so that it might expand its power over its own people. The military wants war so that it might swell its ranks and its treasury. The war industries want war so that they might sell millions of arms and munitions at monopoly rates.

Thousands of powerful people have every incentive to send their "country" to war. Why else do you think war is a constant backdrop to world affairs?
