    Question about luring.

    Wildy/Jojo3000/construction/etc.
So many types of lures will be comming back its so exciting.

So back about a year and a half ago. A couple of buddies and I found out how to kill people outside of the Houses. But back then it seemed useless as they just ran back and picked up there stuff and took off. Damn Gravestones. So if I get somebody low health and kill them outside of my house will I be able to see the loot?

This really excites me because this is how I got my santa hat + Green Mask back in 2007.

    Question about luring.

Outside of wilderness gravestones will still be implemented as far as i know, BUT once the gravestone crumbles the items will be available for looting, so if they can't make it back you still get there stuff.

Luring will be much harder.. especially with the wildy ditch. Going to be hard to find people dumb enough to fall for it lol.

It will be the same as someone dropping an item, they will have a time limit before they appear on the ground.

    Question about luring.

Would the table lure work? You get someone to put a valuable item on a table in your house then expel the guests. Wait a min and the item would appear?

You can say you put the item on there for a glitch, then tell him to spin and some shit happens idk, then expel lol.

    Question about luring.

Will be a bit harder, due to the ditch...but for a good talker even that wouldn't be a problem.

    Question about luring.

im sure luring to wilderness will still be capable, if you ever go to free to play you can easily see where the noob river runs, and every day those fools buy a month of membership to try it out, LOL. Nothing against f2p players but you must admit alot of f2p members are annoyingly ignorant, which in the luring case is the perfect person to lure. Also, as sites like sythe and others get more popular, more people with no real knowledge of runescape will be wealthy because of spending IRL money, thus providing even more easy lures that actually pay off quite well.

On another note, as some have already mentioned, if you get creative enough you can think of plenty of ideas that can earn you some nice wealth without even using the wilderness. I mean as classic as the (drop your item and hit alt-F4 to copy it!) one was, it still worked and that was just plain dumb, but people fell for it. Some noob came up to my pure one day, didn't believe that someone my level and being pure could get a firecape. After five minutes of talking I convinced him I used a glitch and if he gave me his rune platebody I would give him a gold coin that would "turn into a firecape" when he recieved it.

The point of the examples above are to prove, its always possible, just think on your toes and be creative, think up a plan so complex they can't do anything but believe you, and also think about other ways to get items out of peoples inventories, Some of the best lures I ever got were to NPC's that killed the people, so think outside the box.

    Question about luring.

Just stick to the classic Varrock Pub lure. The only problem we'll be facing is the "instant" appearance of items dropped in the wilderness.

There will ALWAYS be noobs who will cross the ditch just for some money.

    Question about luring.

I think luring will be much harder now. People are much more aware, also I think Jagex will try to make little things to stop it.

    Question about luring.

Thanks guys. But none of these posts answers my question in anyway.

Let me write it out again:

IF I lower somebodies Hitpoints in a house (just an example could just be anything els) and we get into the actual game after. Somehow an npc or a glitch or some food I give them kills them. Will I see the loot. Seeing as I weakened him so I should get the "You have defeated..." message.

Outside of wildy, you will have a gravestone.
Read the FAQ on Runescape.com about the wild.

    Question about luring.

Yes, if someone dies and is not in a wilderness environment, they will receive the gravestone they have purchased, with a minimum of the 3 minute one that everyone has as default. AFTER that gravestone crumbles, assuming they cannot make it back to it to reclaim there dropped items, the items will show up for EVERYONE. To answer your question, no matter what you do, if you manage to get someone to die in your house or even outside of it, if they can't make it back to there gravestone, the items will appear for you to pick up.
