As free trade coming back is going to kill merching, how are they going to make big cash? GWD? Hunter?

 

They've got plenty of Mule acc's with GP.

 

I have 4 sorc garden bots running 20 hours a day. Looking to sell the gold on them Make anywhere from 12-20M a day depending on luck.

I haven't sold gold before though, so no idea how they will be making cash.

Thats one IF not the BIGGEST Atrocity I've ever heard. I do hope your kidding or you have never played runescape in your life. Do you really think before the G.E was introduced there was no merchanting? How is free trade going to kill it? It would even ENHANCE it since the profit margins can now be bigger as there will not be a minimum/maximum restriction.

 

By merching, he meant buyout/c;an merching, which will no longer be possible.

And I disagree, the profits were HUGE with buyouts. Simple flipping like done in Pre-GE days was chump change compared to the gold I was making from buyouts.

 

Why would buyout/clan merching be not posible anymore? People could still get organized and buy for a set price of let's say 10% above guide price and the item would still rise. I am not doubting your merching skills but you should not underestimate the power of flipping. With buyout you could get around 10% profit everyday if done correctly. The same goes with flipping, you could buy 2,5% below med and sell 2,5% above makin a profi of 5% in 8 hours and you could pull another trade and do anothr 5% in another 8 hours which would be 16 hours In a day which is possible. Both kinds of merch have their pros and cons. Buyout might not have the requirement to play evEry 4 hours but I meant a higher risk of losing money.

EDIT: Of course flipping BEFORE the G.E was nothing compared to buyout, any RS player who has played over 4 years knows that.

 

Some people have tons of gold via botting each day..

 

I'd think it'd help gold sellers. No trade limit = easier to flip/make money.
Also it'd just take a little bit more, than flipping.
i.e they have to be on more than once every four hours.

It was easier to merch before the GE, so it'll be easier to keep merching.

 

I'm making 12-14M a day running 4 bots for 18 hours a day. I don't expect that to change very much as free trade is introduced.

That's the easiest way just un dude .
