Hey guys, I am currently working towards 99 herblore and I need a good plan that would get me there with the right amount of overloads and extremes left over. I already worked out a plan for 99 herblore, but I am not sure whether it should be tweaked in any way (and why) and I would love your suggestions. I am also not sure whether I should make an even amount of extremes, so I would only have overloads when I am done with herblore or if I should make extra extreme potions to use separately. Thanks guys.


Current Plan for 99 Herblore:

88-96: Magic Potions (30.7k total)
96-98: Extreme Potions (8.9k total/1780 of each type)
98-99: Overloads (Around 1.8k total)

Why arentnyou making extremes sooner?
If you have a bot you might as well clean herbs though or do it with mouskeys till extremes because I doubt you'll actually wanna keep the magic potions?

Well, I was going to sell the magic potions once I'm done. Also, I'm not making extremes sooner because If I did, I would have too many left over and that would lead to more overloads.

I'd suggest that you don't even make extremes/overloads till 99 if you didn't really need them. Or, you could do like magic potions to 98, (x) amount of each extreme that you want/need, then overloads till 99. That is probably what I am going to do, except with Super Energy -> Recover Special -> Extremes/Overloads.
 
It seems like a good plan to me. 2k of each extreme or 2k overloads is about the most you'll ever need, even if you use them gratuitously for training.

Tbh, I'd also just go with Recover Specials, so buy the Super Energies now too. Just wait a few days if you have the patience. It's always fun to go to a slayer task and use a new claws spec every 50 seconds, and they also help with bosses.

The only reason why I don't do recover specials is because both of the ingredients are able to be consumed, and I don't want to increase the amount of clicks it takes to 99. :p

Well, I decided to make extra extreme potions with my overloads. Does anyone have a good idea of how many of each extreme (for separate uses) I should make and how many overloads total?
 
1k OVLs seems more than ample to me. I'd say go for another 500-1k extremes on hand, but that's just me. If you hardcore boss fight, get more OVLs.

That's over 585 hours of being overloaded. Up to you as to whether or not that is too much or too little.

If I do make that many, I won't ever have to make any more in a while. :o Also , I looked up that it would only take 2-3 hours to make those with a familiar, so it isn't as bad as I thought.
 
it is rather fast the question is do you have enough money? and i made ovlds till 99 and i still have 400 sittin in my bank.... then again i do PVM all day every day.
 
how much that would be tbh? i think like more than 300m or im wrong?

sounds like your ready to get 99 herby :P Gl on it, and it sounds like you have a very good plann, stick with it. If you think about it 1k+ of all the extreme pots is quite alot! pluss over 1k ovls will last you a while :P Gl on 99 herby m8.
 
I made a new plan, so that I would be able to have extra extreme potions left over. Can you guys see if it is good and whether that would be too much of a certain potion because with this plan I would get about 1k of each extreme left over after I make the overloads, just for separate purposes.


92-97 Extremes (17,428 total/3,486 each)
97-99 Overloads (2,342 total)
 
i'm 94 herb right now and i did like 2k recover special and they are useless just sitting there in my bank lol.

Regardless if both of the secondaries are consumable, get ~1k recover specials for bosses/crash teams. They're worth it.
