I recommend you to see this Website, it tells you all the good things the new bill will do. The republicans have brainwashed many Americans into believing that this bill will kill your grandparents. It may sound like it is a step forward to a public health care, because they've. Put some regulations like the insurance companies cannot say if you have a preexisting condition we won't give you coverage. Doctors and patients won't be bombarded by the healthcare companies as much, who's only interest is to seek a profit, not to make people healthier. The bill will 100% not effect the doctor's wages, if you do see a drop in doctor's wages, blame the insurance companies, they are in control of that. Doctors in France, who has universal healthcare, generally make more money than here in the U.S. I also have problems with the Bill, It was not as strong as I hoped it could of been, but it is a step in the right direction.

Reason's why the Health Care bill is bad: (replying to post above)

Costs. Any way you slice it, adding another $940 billion to the deficit is not a good thing for the US economy. On top of what, the 11 trillion? Add 1 more trillion. GJ.

No new incentives for primary care physicians. Physicians are increasingly turning to specialties as a way to pay off expensive medical school debt and make more money. More work for primary care physicians. That also means longer wait times, more obstacles, and potentially higher specialist costs for consumers.

More taxes.

Edit: And no country with public health care is a World Power. United States (Of China) won't break that trend, either.

 

Honestly I hate everything about Obama being in office. If I had my way, he would not be there. But obviously I don't. I'd love to see him shot.

I didn't vote him into office. In fact, I had no desire to vote either party into office. Perhaps this is why I didn't vote at all. And laughed at the people who told me it was not ethical for me not to vote. What am i going to vote for? 'i hate both parties and think that we should find new ones' Pretty sure that was not an option.
I think that he has done very little good for the country. He has cost us more in his first few months in office than anyone has cost the country throughout their entire presidency. He's done more harm than good.

 

The simple rule is that allowing the private, free market system to run the healthcare industry provides for a much more efficient system. Undermining the free market by giving federalized social benefits to everybody will injure the system. Hospitals will simply make less money. You think that a hospital that makes less money will not lower the wages of its doctors? Also, doctors generally make $100-200k or more a year. This puts them in a very high tax bracket, which means he pays more on taxes. Having to raise taxes to pay for socialized health care will essentially lower Tyro's future wages.

Another thing to inject into the discussion: Obama's bailing out of the auto industry, banks, etc. in his first few months as office. Is it really good to essentially buy General Motors and all of those other companies?

 

That's a great thing to say, because, whenever a president has been assassinated before, no problems have arose from it. GJ you racist cunt.

So far all auto companies have repaid their debt. GM did within the first few months, however yes, there is always the government saying: "Hey, we did keep you afloat and now you're going to turn your backs on us?"

 

If the bill is so good, why do so many companies and unions want to be exempt from it? Because it raises their costs for health care and they have to somehow ofset that cost by either firing people, lowering wages, increasing their product prices, or a combination of all three of those things.

My Thoughts are, he is part of a conspiracy theorist group and no matter what he does\applies to our laws, despite it being against the constitution. It will pass simply because we have no choice as to whether it does or not. i personally believe he will be re-elected in 2012, not because we want him as a country to represent us, But because we have no choice.

Honestly, the fact that his skin color is even mentioned is one of the saddest parts of his presidency. Sure, it's cool that he is the first black president to be elected. That doesn't mean he gets to use it as a label or even a crutch for his four (and possibly, although god I hope not, eight) years in office. I thought we elected him because we were making a statement that we don't care that he's black. If we don't care so much, why do we have to keep coming back on the fact that he is black?

Why do we have no choice what health care bill passes? The president should have absolutely no power in what laws are written. He's allowed to propose a law, but that same right exists even in you. You're allowed to go up to your congressman's office and hand him a bill you think should be made into a law. Although the president's bill is almost surely going to be read (whereas yours won't), the process still exists. After getting a proposed bill, it's Congress's job (and indirectly our job as voters) to change it to actually be a beneficial law. They can even deny it ever being passed, as well.

i was just saying how i think people percieve him as different to many other presidents, and how he will bring great change...but in reality he is the same just with a different face.

Also, the chinese are getting approval from other countries, ( which russia has already approved) to change the monatary system, from the US Dollar too the Chinese UEN. We are already in dept to them, for more then 9+ Trillion dollars this could cause the fall of a country.

First of all, he does not have a secret militia and you have no proof of this.

Second, they aren't going to change to the yuan because it is artificially devalued and China will not allow it to appreciate.

Third, we DO NOT owe China $9 trillion, we owe them close to $1 trillion.

In the Summit there finance minister, declared this. Accordingly so other countries think it would be a good idea. There seems to be a cycle which has shown to prove its self with older civilizations, Peace and Prosperity, Weakening, Natural Diaster, Rebelion, and then leading back to the beggining of the cycle.
