Firstly, Homosexuals are still completely fit and able men, their orientation does not affect if they can fight in a war or not.

They joined the army for that reason, should they get stereotyped and told no because they're homosexual?

Theres a difference between sitting in a shopping centre/mall and checking out guys/girls and Afghanistan.. Homosexual men do not 'Try it on' with straight men, not like they would in war anyway.

The only reason that would be problematic are the stereotypical judging homophobes who think looking at another mans genitalia is homosexual tendencies.

I dont care if your gay, I just dont want to know about it. If I know that your gay, that means you expressed it, and I want nothing to do with you then.

Most of the time people just milk it and the only thing it can encourage is diversity..

Lets say for instance this was never made public.. and gays did join and nobody would of thought anything of it..

some real fucking ego's in the army I doubt they'd even want to join.

 

Nobody would think anything of it until they realieze theres a freaking homosexual with them. Gays are females in my eyes, and we dont allow male/female cooperation right?

 

I'm glad to see action actually being taken in the US. Things seemed to be talked about forever, and nothing ever done.

Yes, that probably will make some uncomfortable, but I was thinking more about homosexual men becoming interested in other homosexual men...
