I used to hate dungeoneering a lot, and only trained it by using tears of guthix and lamps.

Now for the past few days, I am really getting into it. The only thing that is annoying me is resetting prestige and going through the lower floors again.

What is your view on dungeoneering?

I enjoyed it when I trained it. Just ate up a lot of my time in chunks. :p

It is not too bad in a group.

Solo it is boring. If you play it for fun, it is great fun, especially with friends.

However, it does get annoying after a while.

Just rush the low floors on complexity 1, and do higher floors on c6.

Super fun on my main I would do 1-25 C1 Small rush with a Duo or 5 people party. Then 25+ I'd do large until my max floor.

    I think it's fun if your team is nice/talks and aren't a bunch of DB's :p

Hate it, cant stand it even though most of my combat stats are maxed so it should be fun.

A poor attempt at imitating instances from other MMOs

I'm not a huge fan of it. I see it as many others do, as an activity. I generally train it using XP lamps, ToG, Penguin Points, etc.

    The skill's Ok

But the think thats the annoying part is the whole 'Team thing' it takes ages to get into one (World 117) and when you do they dont listen, and when things get bad.. they leave!

A good friend of mine soloed all the way to 101 Dung he said it was much faster than any world 117 team.

I think it's an alright skill, for the most part.

I don't agree with how combat-oriented it is, and don't like the team aspect.
I especially hate how w117 functions, and that alternatives are few and far apart.

I don't really like it. I guess I haven't given it that much of a chance but it bores me.

I'm loving the skill atm, I've just recently got level 80 and bought my chaotic longsword. Gonna be mega for bossing.

well ofcourse soloing is better than 117 ... 117 is pure shit ... your best bet if you are lower than 100dg is to go to 148 .. and soloing btw is pretty slow too, and not fun at all.

I love dungeoneering ... i was on some private teams with people on the first page, got to 100 and opened a business, now I dg with friends and have fun on TS and i have already passed 110. My xp is approx 4x 99s in DG ... i am in no rush to get to 120, but I will get there in no time at the rate I am going.

I like it just based on the fact thats its not repetitive in a traditional sense, all the maps are different, and the higher level bosses [Blink/Kalger] are pretty fun ... also its the only skill where a bot can never be faster unless they figure out ways for bots to send info on a team.
