You can get a virus from just being connected to the internet, you don't even have to open your browser to receive a virus.

Anyways, I don't use any Anti Virus software, because it slows down your Computer and I'm not stupid enough to get a virus, I use something called "COMMON SENSE". But when my friends need help with their Computers which might have viruses on them, I use Malwarebytes.
