What do I do.

Ok, so I have been playing Rugby League for the Past 7 or 8 years and Pre Starting season is coming up and I have just gotten a call to say I am In QLD U/18 Team. *Reserve Team* thats pretty much my dream. But its come down to Money. If you dont already no I live by my self and pay my own bills Blah Blah...

Trainings:

Tuesday - 11 - 6.
Wednesday - 7 - 12
Thursday - 9 - 5
Friday - 7 - 10
Sat or Sunday Game.
Monday Rest.

Well I cant offord it. Pre season we dont get payed formost of theese guys still live at home and such. So Do I move back home or Stay at work?

If you read any of My PHaA threads you would no why I dont want to go Home, but this is like a dream to me. I need more help.

Isn't there any kind of allowance from the government?

 

$120 Every 2 Weeks, its no were near enough.

 

I would suggest taking a break from the rugby league and get some cash and a some stress relief first. Then once money isn't as much of an issue think about the team and decide is it worth the time,effort and money.

Definitely bro. Go hard, live your dream, no regrets. This could be a stepping stone to greater things. You are so lucky to be in a position like this. It just sucks Rugby League players are so underpayed, I know a guy who played Queensland U18s in Rugby Union and was on a 25k contract per year. Just wondering... what position do you play?

All I have to say is follow your dreams man. In the end you can't die with your money but you can always have the memories of the amazing years that you played ruby. ^_^

 

$60 for Training $ 450 - $550 a Match.

So almost a grand a week.
