What is "junk"?

How do people make money from junk?

 

Most likely stuff that has less street price than trade price In other words, stuff that is crashing.

 

From my understanding people buy junk for a few cents per mill and when they get enough junk they use it for buying/selling rares for street price. So they just make money by buying other peoples junk.

They need the junk to buy rares for street price. They are just making money by buying junk.

 

Rofl no. People who buy rares doesn't buy junk. They pay gp and get rares + junk. If you don't know what you talking about, don't write misleading info then

 

You obvious are not understanding what I am trying to say, and I wasn't saying everyone who buys junk is buying it for that purpose. >_>

 

basically junk is stuff that nobody wants and won't sell on the GE for days at a time. A few ways to make money on junk is to buy a lot of a junk item (that has a fairly reasonable price margin in the GE) for lowest, then since the trade price is more than you bought them for in the GE, you made profit on the junk. Since its junk, nobody will want to buy it from you, so what you do is buy an expensive item, and lend it out for xxxK/hour, using your junk to make up the difference.

Junk is the result of a merched item that has reach it's peak and that is being dumped by the clan.

 

No its not....

That's just a type of junk....

Junk is something somebody can't sell on the GE simply because no body wants it - Its JUNK...self explanatory really.
