Do we have the rights to set borders and try to control who crosses them?
I think it is necessary to maintain peace and order.

Do we have the right to Deport those who do make it across our borders?
I'm def crossed on this one, it seems wrong to force someone to leave if they desire to stay, rather i think we should give them a chance to become legal/

Is it right for us to try to control immigration and peoples free will to live a better life?
No because it is wrong to control where someone desires to live although we should monitor the borders

Where do you think the line between "security" and people's free rights is drawn?
I think when someone is forcefully deported is where i draw the line... the person should be given an opportunity to plead his case not just get a letter telling them they will be deported in an x amount of days.

Do we have the rights to set borders and try to control who crosses them? For your country, yes. Protection of the people within the country, we let some people in.

Do we have the right to Deport those who do make it across our borders? If they did so illegally, yes.

Is it right for us to try to control immigration and peoples free will to live a better life? Yes, because if everyone came to "The Land of Opportunity" we would be way overpopulated. I'm not originally from America, but live here now and have my credentials to do so. I love it here, but sometimes I wish to return back home.

Where do you think the line between "security" and people's free rights is drawn? Most people in America are consumed with fear of foreigners. If you gain entry to a country legally then you have all the right to stay, but if you just border-hop you should be deported.

Do we have the rights to set borders and try to control who crosses them? Of course... main reason for this is drug trafficking it would be chaos if we didn't.

Do we have the right to Deport those who do make it across our borders?
No... once your in you should be able to stay this is a mistake or error the government missed and there mistake should result in you being a perm ant resident of the states.

Is it right for us to try to control immigration and peoples free will to live a better life? Land of free and home of the Brave? you tell me...

Do we have the rights to set borders and try to control who crosses them?

The government.

Do we have the right to Deport those who do make it across our borders?

If they come without permission, yes.

Is it right for us to try to control immigration and peoples free will to live a better life?

Absolutely not. We are all immigrants. Is it that hard to comprehend?

Where do you think the line between "security" and people's free rights is drawn?

I can summarize this in one sentence from what I've learned in my law classes. Everyone has a circle around them, and as long as other people do not enter your space, they are not doing anything criminal or deviant.

Do we have the rights to set borders and try to control who crosses them?

- Yes, they're called Property lines. Trespass and get shot.

Do we have the right to Deport those who do make it across our borders?

- being an alien means you're not registered as a local, therefor you're deported back to your home.

Is it right for us to try to control immigration and peoples free will to live a better life?

- yes because they have the option to come in the legal way, but don't choose to because they usually don't know about it.

Where do you think the line between "security" and people's free rights is drawn?

- In the sands of TX.

Don't you see that as a little extreme?

Answer the following question(s).

Do we have the rights to set borders and try to control who crosses them?

Consider this.
A man owns a section of land.

He has rights to put a fence up because of his ownership of the land so therefore can control who enters his premises.

Do we have the right to Deport those who do make it across our borders?

If a random foreigner trespassed onto your property you have every right to remove them.

Is it right for us to try to control immigration and peoples free will to live a better life?

Its his land so he can decide freely who lives with him.

Where do you think the line between "security" and people's free rights is drawn?

Nobody has free rights to trespass onto a mans property.

Do we have the rights to set borders and try to control who crosses them?
I think that it's our country, and if we feel the need to protect our country whether it be economy stimulating or preventing infiltration we have every right to do so.

Do we have the right to Deport those who do make it across our borders?
I understand that we aren't going to be able to catch everyone that makes it across. But yes i think we should deport those that enter the country. The boarders are there for a reason. They knew the score upon entering our country. But we have people like Obama trying to make it easier for these immigrants to stay in our country.

Is it right for us to try to control immigration and peoples free will to live a better life?
No one is trying to stop anyone from living there lives. There is a process in which a Mexican has to go through to become Americanized. I'm not racist or biased in the slightest, but when i lived in Texas, A GOOD PORTION of them didn't know how to speak English. It was irritating. I think they need to go through the process in which is necessary before being free. Where as you might get away with something in Mexico you might not be able to do it here they need to learn it up and down.

Where do you think the line between "security" and people's free rights is drawn?
There will never be a line, because excuses WILL be made and delivered by the administration. For those who are just beginning to grasp and understand there rights, it will of been too late, so as strict as they get or as loose, the kids of this century won't be able to tell the difference.

Do we have the rights to set borders and try to control who crosses them?
Yes, it is their land. They can do what they want on it.

Do we have the right to Deport those who do make it across our borders?
If they are breaking laws or don't belong there then yes.

Is it right for us to try to control immigration and peoples free will to live a better life?
Yes, immigration hurts the county. If a bunch of people with no past and no jobs come into America it hurts the economy.

Where do you think the line between "security" and people's free rights is drawn?
When people coming in can hurt the economy or other people that are legal citizens.

Who has the right to be judge, jury and execution over permissions of who travel when and where?

Who says if it illegal or legal?

The government does. Your questions come down to the necessity of having a government; do we need one or not? In my opinion we do, without a body with the power to maintain order society would soon be reduced to anarchy.

Why? What service does the government provide that we can't do better on our own?

The government coordinates services that are impractical to do on an individual basis, communications, electricity, justice, defence etc

Emergency services? Say you were unconscious in a burning house you would haves chance of survival with other people there then if you were alone.

Anarchy is impossible and would never survive. There is always going to be someone that wants to take control, whether it be drug lords or different gangs, there will always be some sort of power.

So Anarchy wouldn't survive before someone implemented totalitarian ways.

How about if we put this into perspective so all can understand? The Sythe site is a small country.. Moderators are government.. Members are the population..

Do we need moderators? Can't we do a better job managing/controlling the country of Sythe without them?

Here's the key difference, in my opinion. No one is coercing you or me to be here. No one is coercing us to do anything. We're free to come and go as we please, and donate if we want to. The government forces you to pay taxes, among other things, and won't let you leave unless you get the okay from them first, which is very difficult to do.

Coercing you? Just follow the rules/laws and you'll be just fine. You're here because you're a citizen/member.

As with Sythe, our population is more challenged in debating why they should be allowed to stay, not leave..

As for why people are challenged when attempting to leave a country, odds are they're not wanted anywhere else and/or they're running for a reason. Everyone must live somewhere and freely allowing mass populations to show-up at another country's doorstep has world-wide impacts. I've personally been on the ground in Africa to witness several 100k show-up in a few days time.

But why should they just be able to contain me because I was born here?

Contain you? You're not allowed to depart your country of citizenship? What is the reason? Perhaps they don't want you somewhere else? Tell you what.. 300-people from another country have just showed up in your front yard.. Sorry it was not planned, but the fact is here they are.. Deal with it.

The reason is they don't want to lose revenue from the taxes that the refugees would be paying. What gives them a right to the land, anyway? They're not using most of it (common area), but they won't let anyone else use it (even their citizens in many cases) either.

Tyro.. man. When your knowledge of the real world expands beyond the comfort of your own home to the challenges faced by mass populations moving wherever they please, drop me an email. The issue like above, 300 people showing up at your front door has major challenges which I'm sure the first thing you're gonna want to do is call a government you felt earlier you did not need.

Wanna add a little more challenge? Guess what, all 300 of them need to use your bathroom, stove and computer. Food.. don't forget to hide the cat and dog because they also need to eat.

Yes, there is massive amounts of land which I assume is what you're speaking of in your response. Just understand we had to raise your taxes to cover emergency development. Jobs.. Answer the phone because your employer just realized they could hire one of the guys in your front yard for half the pay. If by chance your having issues leaving the USA, I'm more than glad to hook you up with a ticket to some 3rd world country for a better life.
