90 str or 99?

As what I have heard, it seems like 90 str is almost the same as 99, so yeah.. Is 99 str really worth getting? Once I made a 310-310 on a tanker in duel arena so yeah.. I even had 82 str at that moment, so is it really a huge difference?

That's probably the most rubbish claim I've heard. It's alot different when it comes to potting and using prayers. Basic math.. The higher your initial level is, the highest the bonus will be..

 

it is a lot of difference, but if you know how to pk levels dont really matter, so in my opinion i rather get 99 range than strength and keep str at 99

 

The difference is a fair bit especialy when you pot/pray.
Although the effort is alot I would reckomend it.

Coming from a guy with multiple 99 str pures, it's not worth it in the short term.
90str is 5.3mil exp while 99 str is 13mil exp.

Stop at 90 str and get 90 range for the short term. You'll be able to have alot more versatility at that combat level and you'll reach BOTH 90str and 90 range faster than you'll reach 99str alone. Then once you're bored of that combat go for more str/range.

Whether it be p2p or f2p, nowadays pures need both range and melee.

 

Yeah and em 9 str lvls will get ur cb up from 2 to more cb lvls! depends on hp and leveling techinque. id say 90str...

 

It'll take time but I say go for it. Even if there wasn't much difference 99 is much more impressive then 90.

 

I suggest getting it, as although it'll take a while, in the end it'll be worth it.

 

99str is way better, 9 levels....

 

90>99 time wise.. if you want to spend as little time on getting stats then just settle for 90, it does the job. you dont need the BEST, although the best is better.. but if your'e training legit just go for 90 haha, i think the highest stat i have ever training legit is 78 or something lol

 

I thin 99 str pwns 90 str, cose you hit more and often and ur 320-320 hit was pure luck

 

I would say go for it. The cape is nice and the 9 more levels of strength really does help in PVP.

i think it will be worth it considering you wont add a bunch of combat levels

 

It does make a big diference in a small way, that extra 30 or 40 hit could come between a kill or a fail spec..
