Requesting name change

Spyike pretty much nailed it. There are plenty of people here on Sythe with offensive names, IMO it seems as though you are just looking for a reason to get a name change. If you are truly being altruistic in an attempt to make your name more ethnically sensitive then props, but from knowing you in other sections of the site *cough spam forum*, I highly doubt such is the case : P

Your right, I am just looking for a name change. But i'm leaving what the staff changes it to up to them.
I'm not requesting it to be changed to anything in particular.

Currently the only punishment being dealt for TWC evasion is a TWC being applied to the new account.

 

That seems a bit lenient. I'd think that someone who tries to evade a TWC would only create more suspicion of bad intentions. Maybe that's just me, though.

 

Making a new account is out of the question.
I'll either get a name change, or keep this name.
Doesn't really matter that much to me.

I PM'ed Alteranz about locking and cleaning up this thread and moving the discussion to the staff forum, but they didn't reply. I didn't know which mods had permission in this area and Alt was the only Global (one mod I could think of that might have perms in this section) that was online. Never replied back.

 

Sindrefyrn, you and I both know that's not even remotely true. 1234567ASDF got the letters in his name capitalized. He wasn't staff.

 

None staff can get letters capitalised.

But not name changes, I think in Black's case he should be able to change it.

 

Anyone can get their names de-capitalized and capitalized it happens all the time, thats not changing the name. For example Matt Hasty - matt hasty, I'd still be the same user nothing different.

 

Didn't jCash have his numbers removed before he was staff as well? That's essentially the same thing as Blackkk's case.

Blackkk -> Blackk would still be the same TWC with a manky avatar that we all make fun of. What's different?

 

Believe me, I agree with you 100% here. It's just what they have been doing.

 

Not happening. Non-staff may only get letters in their name capitalized. Closed etc.
