Can you get banned for using one?

 

I'm pretty sure that's either a minor macroing ban or a mute.

 

It's a mute.
A friend of mine got muted because he was trying to buy something in w2 with one.

 

I think you get a mute if you use it.

 

Pretty sure it's a mute, but I don't know if that's from spamming or from using an auto-talker.

 

They're pretty hard to detect, and it depends how you're using it. If you're spamming messages within a second of eachother, then of course you'll recieve a punishment.
But I'm pretty sure it's a mute, probably a temp too.

 

You can get banned for abusing one.

 

Auto-talker are given a lot of leeway. Just don't abuse the chat when you are using it. Abuse leads to more abuse which makes for legit typing impossible

 

autotalker is a macro, it can be used for spamming which can get you muted pretty quickly.

 

If you set one up to make it seem like there is enough time for a normal person to actually type between messages you shouldn't have much to worry about.

 

Using an AutoTalker will most likely going to get you a mute as punishment.
If you spam an message evrey two - three seconds, I don't think it'll be a problem. Avoid spamming evrey one sec.

 

usually a mute, if its bad spam its a ban

 

I've auto talked for 3 months straight on an account for 24 hours a day
repeating myself every 2 seconds and I was never muted/banned.
