Range Tank?

Just wonder if it's not too late to be range tank :embar: and any suggestions on quests + gear + stats?. First range tank I'm gonna attempt so... probably going to fail, tbh.

Stats atm are:

60 atk
64 str
70 def, obviously need higher.
93 rng, going for 99 atm, about 156k from 94.
45 pray .... getting 52 I think, unless told otherwise. ^_^
86 hp, I think...
and 76 mage, getting up after 99 range. But should I get 94? and for barg or for veng?

Kinda clueless about range tanks as you can see...

Any help will be appreciated. :love:

 

99 range , 99 def, 94 mage , 45 pray is fine.
99 hp.

D bolts rune cbow veng pk .

 

so... no 52 pray? Just thought that it would help with the extra pray and ofc.. smite.

 

You will not be melee based, so it is not too late
Consider 94 Mage and opt to stay 45 Prayer.

70 Def is not so bad too.
94 Mage would help You a lot :] Same like 52 prayer
Well I would stay 70 defence.

 

veng turmoil/soul split 99 def 99 range 99 mage and dragon e bolts a killer in pvp

 

Since I'm an actually tank ill give you some stat's advice

Get the 52 prayer Which i have atm my goals are to get 92 prayer but that's later on

Do the quest for the spirit shield as it's honestly worth it

Get Rfd to barrows gloves

94 magic is always good but i know your going to want a cape that's trimmed so 99 is a must lol


Here's few short term goals

60/70/75 Attack ( vice versa) to str
60/70/74 Strength (vice versa) to atk
70/85/90/99 defense
66/85/94/ Magic
well your going to get a good amount of hp during the training period
Gl whit your goals and you will make it just believe in your self.
