Randoms

My account got stuck on one for like an hour because it was suppose to kill something but my account had a bow on with no arrows so do you guys think I still have a chance of reaching 99 hunter without getting banned? From my perspective, I don't think it matters because the only way I'll be banned is if I get reported and getting randoms is no big deal.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong ... But aren't randoms in place to detect and prevent botters?

 

The bot solves the random fine, its just the fact that he had no arrows equipped so the bot wasn't actually able to kill the pheasant.

OT: Being stuck in a random 1 hour isn't really a problem, its when you get stuck for 10+ hours while you are AFK you should start to expect bans.

 

What he said^ 1 hour, Shouldnt be a huge deal.

 

No randoms are given out randomly to every player in the game, not just to botters. The only thing you need to worry about when botting is if you get reported. Jagex don't spend time watching every player in the game because that's just impossible and they have better things to do. They only care about the players that were reported for macroing, that's why they have a reporting system.

 

I didn't say there was a problem with the bot solving the random.

I know randoms are given out to every player, hence why their called "randoms" but my point here was that you stated; "I don't think it matters because the only way I'll be banned is if I get reported and getting randoms is no big deal." But randoms is a form of JaGeX's macro detection, if it wasn't then they wouldn't test us or change the options every time we get one. So, yeah, you should be worried about being stuck in a random for an hour, but no it's not going to 'flag' your account, like a report would.

 

Yea well my account got stuck on a random for an hour once again but I am still botting 24/7, about to reach 99 hunter in 3 days or so.
