Allow users to switch to legacy postbit

I've always liked the old layout of threads better. Then one where the user info is on the left, and the post is on the right.

In my opinion let us choose between the legacy postbit and this new one.

 

Personally, I like this way better. Also show an example of what legacy postbit to the people who don't know what it is.

 

That's why I'm asking to give users the choice to switch between the two.

 

I don't think that 2+ years is new...

 

My meaning was "newer". I said new because I've never gotten use to it, and most forums I've been on had the option to switch it enabled.

I don't see why you'd want that... I guess if it takes like 5 minutes, sure.

 

Yeah, there is an option in the admincp to allow users to switch.

 

This wouldnt fit well with the skin and ranks.

 

Ranks should stack with that layout, and it would fit perfectly fine with the default theme.

If its a simple option, then I don't see why not. As long as we don't need a custom mod or anything for it.

n the skin making it very easy to just enabel the default skin

 

It's not a custom mod. You can switch it back and forth in the admin control panel, and there is an option to let users switch it back and forth themselves.

I personally think that on top looks the best, but I think that other people should be able to choose between the two.

That's shouldn't be how they did it. Vb automatically adjusts with the theme settings for the given layout.

 

I would rather stay on the top because on other forums when some people have alot of ranks it seems to get clutter, when it is on the top like it is now, it seems to all fit.
