    July third... Its my birthday and my dad hasn't bought me a gift, but he is making me a computer any good tips places to buy?

    A lot of people are probably going to rage because of this: but honestly, you aren't going to need a quad core for years. Not one game needs more than dual core processors. Nothing up for commercial retail needs quad core, so unless you find a cheap one that still functions well, a nice dual core is more practical than a shitty quad core for the same price.

    That's just my opinion though. I don't know too much about it, just that it's highly unnecessary

    Ask for blue LEDs. They make you perform WAY faster.

    But make sure he stays away from the red LEDs. They make your cpu slower.

    What's your budget? I can make plenty of suggestions, I just don't know if it'll be out of your price range, lol.

    I mainly just want to know what you're willing to spend on RAM + Video card, everything else should be fairly simple for you to decide about yourself.
