It seems like there was just a thread about this, I personally prefer an Xbox 360 simply because 95% of my friends are on Xbox Live, I love the games they produce, and the large market.

[mliaso]

ps3 better

Shall we compare prices:
ps3: 300$ modw2: 50$ Headset: 20$
xbox: 150$ modw2: 50$ wireless adapter: 100$ live: 50$ headset: 20$

xbox is much more expensive...but its good, ps3 is also good but not alot of my friends play it so...

You don't have to buy a wireless adapter, you can plug your laptop into your Xbox, or plug it into your modem. Also, both systems come with a mic meaning the price would be equal, the Xbox is not more.

Oh really thanks, now I'm thinking of buying an xbox instead.

[petcon]

ps3 for sure

If you play often, and sometimes with real life friends, go with the 360. Their community system is way better than the ps3's in my opinion.

[Killer Mantis]

God no....why do people always ask this question, all your doing is igniting the fanboy flame.

[I Mooman I]

I'm going to be bias about it, and say Xbox 360. I've never tried PS3, and I'm sure it would be much the same, but I think Xbox 360 is a great console. It has an awesome community and there are great games for it.

But, PS3 and Xbox 360 are probably similar, so go for the console that the majority of your friends play on. Trust me, it's much more fun playing with friends.

ps3 is bs go for xbox

[Skillers FTW]

Sega Megadrive.

Oh wait, Ps3.
Inb4 xbox fanboys.

[Ganzta-Freak]

Go for the PS3, brah. I've always liked Playstation.

But... it depends on what your friends play. Most of my friends have the PS3, so I would go with that, but it's your choice.

Xbox hands down. Has better games, such as the Halo series. The competition on Xbox is way higher. Most important it's cheaper.

You PS3 fans will probably say your paying for the blue-ray too. I buy a game console to play video games on it. Not to watch fucking blue-ray movies.

[Appeal To Reason]

Posting this you must have realized the majority will be fanboys :/

Xbox is win.

Xbox-360!

The Xbox 360 is the second video game console produced by Microsoft, and the successor to the Xbox. The Xbox 360 competes with Sony's PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii as part of the seventh generation of video game consoles.

Features:

Some major features of the Xbox 360 are its integrated Xbox Live service that allows players to compete online, download arcade games, game demos, trailers, TV shows, music and movies and its Windows Media Center multimedia capabilities.

Time-Line:

The Xbox 360 was officially unveiled on MTV on May 12, 2005, with detailed launch and game information divulged later that month at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. (Wished i was there) The console sold out completely upon release in all regions except in Japan.

Ask me for more information. I hope i told you everything about xbox 360. Thats why i chose that concole. (in my opinion)

Buy an xbox for community. Buy a ps3 for quality.
