Buying purple partyhat

Hi!

I'm new to the whole black market area and this will be my first RWT; I will be very careful, so there's no point in trying to scam me. My offer is $70 and an OMM will be used, I pay the fees.

I know this probably is a ridiculous question, but how exactly does an OMM work and how does it ensure not being scammed?

An OMM will hold the purple partyhat from the seller, then he will ask you to send the money, once it's confirmed that the seller has recieved the money, the omm will give you the purple partyhat
