Need some help...

Ok I know I should probably do this on my own, but I have no idea where to start, and i was raised in a spanish family so use of words are not as well developed as yours, and i cannot write good persuading essays.


Heres the rundown;
I was involved into the thefts

1.Stuff was stolen from vehicle
2.Stuff was stolen from another vehicle

I did not commit any of these or assist, I was just in the wrong place with the wrong person. I rarely get in trouble.

M court orders were to proceed to obtain a new job, and start college again, also attend a drug evaluation.

I have done all three, and have not used drugs since.
I passed my first drug test the first time I wen't to court, and am going to pass my second.
I was also told not too associate with the person/persons involved in the incident.

Since then I have not.


I am a good kid, and rarely get in trouble except for those listed times.

I was assigned a 7:00 curfew by the judge and I have not broken it once.


I am now having a disposition hearing and my attorney reccomended I write a paper on why I should not be sentenced to any harsh punishment.


If someone could please take there time on to write a few paragraphs for me to show to the judge that would be great.

First off, I'd like to say your English is fine - it's better than some of my mates' accents, and they're fully English! Second of all, I think that this isn't the place to ask for this. However you shouldn't really be asking someone to do it for you. That's not the point of it. The point is so that you can express why you feel that you shouldn't be punished. If any one else were to right it for you, it would end up being a kiss-ass piece of work. Although if you need any assistance, this is where you should ask for it. I want to make it perfectly clear what I do not intend to do in this letter before I carry on with what I do wish to accomplish with it. The following paragraphs are intended as an initial, open-ended sketch of what the current situation is. Even though on theoretical grounds alone, the prosecutors statements are so filled with assumptions that I feel some futility in replying to them. I do understand why he has come to conclusion about me he has. But he is judging me from what he has seen/heard. I would like to tell you a bit about the situation,

I ********, have sincerely changed my wrongdoings. I know this sounds like a letter to manipulate my way out of the consequences I will be given, but it is not. I am writing to this impress upon yourself and the prosecuting attorney that I am not the kid I have made myself out to look like.

I believe the prosecuting attorney looks at me as another one of the so called “gang” of ******, Mace ******** and others. I myself have personally never associated with Mace ******** in any form. Me and *****used to be good mates back in the high school days. Since then he has gone down hill. When he was released from jail, I thought I would visit him to see how he was doing. Obviously I made a bad decision because later that night I did some very ignorant things. I will not sit and here be called a thief, mess up, or any of the others the prosecutor looks at me as. The moment the incident started to happen, I left to other side of the area, where as I had thought that was the best thing at the time to do. Yes I openly admit I did know what was happening at the given time, but please do not expect me to go and tell the police on him. It was his doing and he made the choice. Yes, I could have made a better decision not to even hang out with him, as in the pit of my stomach I knew i was going to end up in a situation that night I wouldn't take the pleasure of being involved in. I realize my thinking errors and have looked back many times to see what i could of done instead. Such as; not hanging around him in the first place, completely leaving, informing authorities-(although that is a last resort to me).

Now back on the incident at the hilton parking garage. This incident is merely the same as the previous one stated. The person I was with decided to car hopping which I honestly thought was a dumb idea and did not want to take any part in. While he was doing his thing I sat on the concrete ledge and texted my friend. Although I could of left the scene and not proceeded to sit there in a non-chalant manner. I didn't and I also see my thinking errors there.

Mainly, what I am trying to impress upon anyone who reads this, is that I have in fact made a bad reputation for myself. But i can sincerely state that I have not used any illegal drugs, or committed any illegal activities since the incidents. I have followed all the orders given to me by Judge *******. I have followed the 7:00 curfew given to my by his honor, and I can verify the legitmacy of that statement with the family I have here representing me today. I guarantee to pass my drug test, that I am quite sure I will be given. On another note i have aquired a nice job at a nice timeshare agency, and am satisfied there.
