PayPal help.

I was thinking of donating to Sythe via paypal through Spyike. But first, I have a few questions.

1. Can I send him the cash even though my paypal is unverified?

2. What is the most secure paypal option? Gift? Claim and cancel?

3. How do I make sure that someone cannot chargeback over Paypal?

It'd be appreciated if someone with great knowledge on this could answer my questions and any further questions I might have.

1. It depends on which country you've made your PayPal in. Australian and Canadian PayPal's are allowed to, but if you get a single dispute against you, you'll be limited.

2. Gifts/Payment Owed/Claim and Cancel means that you cannot make an ITEM dispute. However, you the person your trading with may still be able to call PayPal and put on a dispute, ring up there Credit Card Company and put on a chargeback, or put in an "Unauthorized claim" into PayPal, which basically means "I didn't have control over my PayPal account and didn't Authorize this payment/transaction.

3. The method I used was quite effective. I asked the person I was trading with to send as "Payment Owed" with the note saying "It is for an item I have already received." This is not 100% effective though, and remember, one dispute on an unverified PayPal = Limited.

 

What about if my Paypal is a Malaysian Paypal?

Let's say I'm selling an account. And I only want paypal. Which one is the most suitable for me to get it? I mean, I know he can call his CC company and get a chargeback, but which is the safest, in your opinion?

Your best bet would be to proxy make a totally different canadien premier paypal, send it money from your main one, and send that to spyike, that way its like nothing ever happened.
