I've played 8 games today; 7 of which atleast 1 person has been afk.

Lost 7/8 game.

It's impossible to get out of Bronze due to morons & people going afk.

 

You can do it. Bronze has some of the silliest games I've seen. If you want, you can duo queue with me sometime; username Tgump. Play someone who can carry lategame with lots of farm in your role. For example, as I'm most proficient at AD carries, I like Tristana or Vayne for lategame damage, but Vayne has pretty complicated mechanics, so I wouldn't recommend trying her for the first time in ranked.

Edit: Looks like you're EUW, so we can't play together, but I guarantee you that ANYONE (if they deserve to get out) can get out of Bronze. I got placed in Silver 2 after winning 6/10 of my promotion games and I went on an 11 game win streak.

 

If you throw all your placement matches, you deserve to be in bronze.

 

People don't "deserve" to be in Bronze; it's all a game of chance. Like he said, people who are AFK or deliberately trolling proliferate the game like crazy.

Just follow Tgump's advice with patience. Since it's just a numbers game, enough trials will eventually yield success. Change your strategy to fit the particular game and it will be that much easier. I strongly disagree with playing an ADC to get out of it, though. It's hard to help out your teammates as an ADC. Your primary goal is to farm during the laning phase, and provide hella DPS during teamfights. What really makes a team is the ability to set up plays, which frankly is hard to do as an ADC because you are such a prime target and vulnerable champion. That's at least me opinion of it.
