who benifits from the health care reform bill? also what is it realy about?

The people who can't afford Health Care. It's about reforming the broken Health Care System that plagues the United States.

 

It benefits MILLIONS of Americans, it honestly was a good move.

 

honestly i think that it is going to ruin the economy more then it already has been ruined

 

i would like to know how a health care fix is gonna damage the economy.

 

well now all of americans have to pay on taxes and if you dont get the governments health care then they will bill you a crap ton of money so they are stealing money from you and if you dont buy it you o them $$$

 

I think it benefits big corporations and the government more than anything else in the long run.

 

The U.S.A is a federal, representative democracy. Its government is supposed to be representive of the electorate. What do you mean when you say that it benefits the government?

 

most likly they get alot of money out of the deal?

 

1) Cause health care prices to rise with regulations and requirements
2) Point to these high prices as a reason for health reform and get it passed
3) ????
4) PROFIT!!!


it's just putting a band-aid on the problem

 

maybe they just simply do not have the funds for it. Not everyone has that kind of money that they charge for simple yet needed stuff

If you're implying they can't afford it, yes.
If you're implying they spend frivolously, I'll need some proof.
If you're implying they're lazy and don't work, you're a dick. That is true for some, but not for the masses.

 

And with that money 'the government' will go and buy themselves private islands and helicopters will they?

Bullshit, unless you're a god-damn hobo. Everyone will end up paying for this in some way, shape, or form. Even if you don't own a business and you are just an employee. Your employer is going to have to make cut backs in order to provide for healthcare for all his employees which means lowering your salary, etc.

Note: This does NOT in fact benefit the larger corporations at all. As a matter of fact, the radio today said that AT&T will have to spend upwards of a billion dollars just providing healthcare for all their employees.

It's a step in the right direction, no one should be denied health care

 

This is to help the people who cannot afford Health Care.

For example, I was once watching the news and there was a story about a 12 year old boy, I believe and his mother died from a type of cancer. She did not have Health Insurance and wasn't able to pay for the help she needed.
