Porn Advertising on Sythe?

What i don't understand, is how its against the rules to post porn in a thread, yet i just entered the spam forum, and went to reply to a post, and down the very bottom i saw an advertisement to 'increase your penis size', with a animated picture of a penis on it. It was called like 'fast size' or some shit. So what the fuck is up with that??

 

Penis size isn't porn, and I'm pretty sure it's based on your searches.

Or, it's random adsense/adbrite.

 

It's not like when you click on the link you're bombarded with penises. It's just pictures of the product.

No you have advertise your porn through adbrite or it's porn advertising.

 

Penis size isn't porn... So i can make a poll, asking everyone for their penis size (which has been done once before, by Finn), and i could tell everyone to post pictures, because its just for proof of size, so its not porn? I believe any nudity on sythe was not allowed, whether it be sizes or not.

And i don't know what you mean by based on my searches. This is my laptop that i use only for university, the only things i ever go on are my university website, sythe, myspace, and general law research.

Err i wouldn't know, i didn't click on the link. But, its quite possible if i did click on the link, i would be bombarded with penis's, since apparently thats what the ad was all about?

While posting this, there is an ad at the bottom for 'meet heaps of hot girls on BeNaughty'.
I'm quite sure if i actually posted screenshots of some of these ads, and posted them in a thread, i'd get banned for displaying pictures of nudity.

I just feel it contradicts sythe's rules, and that of an 18+ forum sub-section that was suggested a while ago. I have never noticed those ads until now, hence why i am posting about it now.

I remember a while ago (6 months maybe, maybe it was even a year ago), there was a thread made in the spam forum, of people posting pictures in competition to see who could post the most revealing picture of a girl, without actually showing off the parts described as nudity in the sythe rules. Yet, despite them not 'technically' breaking those rules, a whole heap of those posters got banned regardless. I'm not sure if they were ever unbanned, but considering by why i've witnessed today in these ads, i believe that banning was unjust.

As this is a general discussion forum, i don't see why i can not post my views in here, as you are also open to do so.

 

I'm just saying.. it's not like it was advertising some hardcore porn or anything. There's ads for male enhancement and breast implants, etc. all the time. From how you described it, it wasn't just some sausagefest porn site, just a penis grower ad.

 

I'm not entirely sure on how the ad system works, but I'm pretty sure its mostly automated by AdBrite. I'm not sure if any steps can be taken to remove sexually related ads, but I think Sythe would take them if they existed. I've personally never really seen any inappropriate ads on Sythe.

 

While we are on this subject, for example I'm browsing redtube I click to play a "video". How do I get rid of the homo penis enlargement ADS on the sides..

 

There was a .gif with a penis growing beside a measuring tape.

I'm not gonna complain, if they'd said we have no control over it I would've been fine, but here they were making excuses like "It's product related", etc.

I've agree that there shouldn't be .gif's of penises anywhere on sythe.

I agree with you Magic Arrow, that if they have no control over what ads come up, then thats a fair statement. Unless all these ads are sexually related, then i don't believe they should be there (i'm not sure if they are, as i said i only noticed them today).
