Exactly, trying to pk with this is terrible! WHY do we need to multiply everything by 10? Does it make it look like your hitting way more?! No... Your still doing the same amount of damage, it's useless.. Pking is going to drop very fast and be very annoying with this horrible HP update.. I'm gonna go rant on the forums now, bye.

I like this, it's a more accurate display of damage.
There isn't any reason for them to reverse it other than a bunch of 10 year olds bitching on the forum.

 

Why are people complaining? It means more exp for every hit.

 

I dislike the lobby, it's unnecessary. The HP update also fails, it's confusing for combat as until you get used to it, you look and you see 500, you think your safe, boom dead.
I highly doubt it will be reversed, as that is basically Jagex admitting to implementing a fail update. I give up on complaining, every update seems to make the game less of a challenge and make everything to easy to do, and take some fun from the game or confuse people, eventually they will regret all these updates.

 

I agree with this. Ide rather have decimals then huge numbers. It just reminds me of adventure quest and the kiddish-er games.

Pking is weird now.

This game is too easy already. Remember the old staking days when less than 2-3k people had 99 ranged and you couldn't just come up with a fat wallet and buy like 20k+ chins?

No they're just doing this for the new players so new players aren't like omfg hit high you stupid dagger they'll be like woah I hit a 10! It does make pking a bit more confusing but you will eventually get used to it.

 

I put type on my screen where the mini-map is blocking the third digit of my hp.

 

Probably to slow down botters before bonus xp weekend tbh lmao.

 

The lobby's great, the complaints about that are just an example of people whining about having to learn something new. (New HP bar, new fonts)

The HP thing is RIDICULOUS. What the hell? Moron update.. If it doesn't support the new skill (If it does, the new skill sounds crap anyway) it's a complete waste of time and only a money-spinner for them. Somebody make a private server where you hit 1000x normal hit, please.

 

We can only hope, this update is pointless, it doesn't do anything positive.

 

Actually is was updated to appeal to a bunch of 10 year old kids, you've got it backwards.

The accuracy of the damage you dealt was perfectly fine before this was updated. In short this was just another sad attempt by Jagex to make Runescape more like it's competitors (specifically WoW). It wouldn't surprise me if in the future they did another HP/damage update where they scaled it even more.

Also, the 'lobby'/new login page was for them to make more money. "Let's flash it in the face of all F2P players of the awesome stuff you get in P2P!" Christ, there's even a buy membership now button.

New skill better blow my mind if I have to deal with this bullshit.

Nope will not happen. I thought everybody have learn already from the end of wildy update. Jagex does NOT reverse a major update just because people are ranting about it. Jagex lost over 60k subscription (from wikia) just from that single update with a FLOOD of rants in the forum. And they never reverse it. Get used to the big numbers my friends, this update is to stay.

Idk why nobody like this update. All that really change is that more health have been given, you actually hit MORE then before. It a pretty okay update with no bad effects. Nobody have a good solid information to why this update should not happening, and the negative effect it will have on the majority of the runescape player's, then just themselves.

 

It's not really a new skill. It's just HP but with a fancier name.

 

Not a record, they have had several thousands before when the wild was removed, it crashed the forums.

 

Yea they couldnt exactly reverse the update because of RWT and the wildy took a big part in that. But changing hitpoints doesnt solve anything just makes the game look weirder. I feel as if im playing a private server everytime I attack something.
