Don't Increase Post Count in the Runescape Pictures/Video Section

High post count doesn't mean you are trusted babe <3

 

So let me guess, you want to disable post count in the market as well so people don't go around posting "Interested, added." when they really aren't? People are gonna spam and people are gonna scam, it's inevitable.

 

No support.
high post count means nothing.
vouches do it all.
and the section is good for raising postcount, thats true.
but postcount means nothing so.

I'd Have To Disagree, Post Count Doesn't Mean Much, A High Post Count Can Be Achieved Twice As Easy As A High Amount Of Vouches, Let Them Post Away, They're Not Fooling Anyone.

On Topic - Posting I Support Without Feedback Should Warrant An Infraction, But I Support + CC Is Perfectly Fine Imo.

 

Like everyone else said, post count should not matter. Hopefully most of the "good luck, i support" spammers will be infracted accordingly, and leave the postings to people who will actually provide criticism and helpful feedback.

 

Most of us know that high post count doesn't mean your trusted, but unfortunatly there still people that seem to think it, which is why they get scammed.

Maybe, have a sticking saying "I support/I'm interested/W.E = Infraction"? I'm sure I've seen it somewhere else in a different forum. This may decrease the number of spammish posts and make it hard for them to gain post count.

And no, before somebody says "What about the trusted members saying "I support"?".... Theres really no reason or point to post that so it doesn't matter.

umm to the dude that said vouches do it all.. i completely disagree, ppl can do small trades to get alot of vouches.. 2 years ago on sythe no 1 gave 2 shits about vouches..

If it gets more members posting and contributing then I don't see the harm in it.

 

Too all the people saying "Post count" means nothing, Yeah, maybe to you, but to a new member joining, they don't even realize what a vouch is, and take your word that you're trusted seeing as you've 1000+ posts.

Vouches mean as much as a post count.

Even if you've 500 vouches, we all know we have a price, that we would eventually scam.

Honestly, People think that having "Apprentice" makes you more trusted, but I highly disagree. I 've been a member of sythe since 2007, and almost all of my posts are in the market, when I'm interested in buying something. .36 posts per day FTW!
