76 - 99 Fishing, how long?

Hello everybody, first off my level in Fishing is barely 60, so I decided to catch lobsters until level 76 (11K lobs), and start catching sharks on my way to 99 Fishing.
I should have known Fishing gives you three times the money you make mastering woodcutting (I got ~35M cutting magics), but meh, I love the way the WC skillcape looks. I did'nt know mastering Fishing I would make about 110M.

If I'm right, it took me about 5 months from 75 to 99 WC 10 hours a day, Fletching took me about 4 months.

Unfortunately, from now on I will not be able to play that long anymore, only about 5 hours a day. So I'm asking one simple question:

How long would it take me to get 99 in Fishing, from level 76, about 5 hours a day everyday?

just auto it in about a month.... legit 5 hours a day would probably be 3 months minimum

 

99 Days. 5 hours a day gives you 1K sharks. 1 shark is about 120 exp. 13.5M minus 1.75M divided by 120,000 is 98.3

You can get the exact amount of exp and get the exact answer, but rougly 3 months.

 

Well, compared to Woodcutting I used to get 400-500 logs a day with a Dragon woodcutting axe, so 3 months is pretty fair for me.
I will start my road to 99 fishing as soon as I get 70 Ranged, maybe tomorrow.
100M in 3 months is definitively worth it.

 

Yeah i just done the math aswell, i would say do it legit though and don't bot.

Yup, I will do it the legit way, I have been playing for around 3 years, I have 40M in cash and items, and 2 99s, I don't wanna risk my account to be permanently banned. If I ever had to bot, it would be using a pure.

 

5 hours for 1k sharks? I have 83 fishing and I'm getting like 1k lobs in 5 hours, do I have a problem??

Anyways, if you're really trying to get to 99 asap try doing lobs until 90 fishing. They still sell rather easily and for a decent amount of cash.

 

Alright this is pretty messed up even at 99 fishing unless you get lucky you will almost never get 200 sharks per hour, average is like 100-130, mainly. I estimate it will take you about 4-6 months (sometimes you may wanna do something other then fish) but I suggest you auto using RsBot for like 3-4 hours a day the do legit for 5 that way you will probably get it done in 3-4 months.

 

Three months unless you're an addict. Addict in my opinion is 10+ hours a day ._.

 

2-3 months unless you decide to do shilo which will be about a month or less.

 

if you start sharks at level 76 you will level a level from every inch your finger nails grow, literally.

 

my friend got it in about 2 months he played a few hours a day that should be it

 

I have decided to start fishing sharks at level 80 fishing, I'm gonna start from 60 to 80 at Shilo village, then from 80 all the way to 99 at the fishing guild so I can catch sharks a bit faster.
By the way, does anybody know about any fishing guild bot? I'm thinking of botting when I go eat or when I'm playing on XBL or something.

 

Your friend probably did monks or Lobsters but this is alot slower.




Btw I should warn you people like myself might stumble upon your thread in runescape forums and Jagex might see this (which I doubt but I am pretty sure they got past the block Sythe has put and do monitor these forums every now and then) so you should probably change one of the threads up by a bit!


Edit: Use either Aelins Profisher or FGSharks for RsBot. I use Aelins mainly and I got from 40-84 fishing (most of which was from lobs or fly fishing though)

 

If they could ever read this forums, they would never know what's the name of my actual RuneScape character. I never use it as username on any webiste outside of RuneScape.

 

once you start botting your gonna just want to bot more and more if you start only do it like 4-5 hours a day max to ensure that you dont get banned, and if you do get banned it's only gonna be a 10 day first.

 

Just do barbarian heavy rod fishing. It's about 65-72.5k xp/h with Granite Lobster and an Auto-Dropper at about Levels 85-90.

 

botting shilo village = 50k or so xp an hour, 20 hours per 1m xp.

76-99 fishing is roughly 12m xp or so, so 240 hours total

Agreed, you need to bot at shilo village to get great exp.
