$75 Donation Rank Perk

i do like the thread title edit, i know every time i request it the mod fucks it up. so i normally have to do it twice

 

Dec 2012 member thinks majority of people don't donate with the perks in mind.
People donate for fake trustworthiness and the perks, the only people truly donating to help benefit the servers are those with 300+ donator ranks

 

Lets be honest here. What really do non-staff need to open/close their threads for.

You can make a new thread, request the old closed. How is that so hard?

 

All of you saying giving them that ability would give them all moderator abilities... lol'd.

Giving them 1 feature doesn't give them everything. vBulletin is an excellent forum software that allows you to do whatever you want.

 

I just think there is no need for non-staff to open/close their threads. What's the point when they could request it to be closed.

 

I think locking and unlocking/changing title etc is too far, easier to scam.. all been stated above so I wont go on.

$75 -Thread titles... Doubtful.


$125 - Removing the last edited. NEVER going to happen. People can cover scams by removing email addresses and such w/ this. Again. Will never happen. Ever.

175 - You have a signature for that.

 

Takes a day or more unless you waste time finding a mod thats online and pm them.

 

It is not taking away mod's job because as he mentioned, you can only do it with your own topics. I totally support this idea!

 

i think changing thread titles should be $200 donator. $75 is too mainstream.

Maybe let you change your own thread titles at $75?

 

Security risk, can be changed if they scam.

 

I support the idea of adding in a 75$ donor rank, but I don't agree with the perks that want to be put in place.

 

I didn't like the original perk suggestion because of that, although I agree that it would be better as a higher end donor perk. About the only one I agree with to an extent.

 

I don't like the idea of having people able to change their titles. Too much room for trolling/ just being downright annoying.

If there was a way to limit it to the market that would be cool.

 

Tricky one of wanting to give new 'rewards' to donators, but if you give too much there'll be problems.

Seems like these suggestions are slightly too much.

 

That's where the main problem will be, can be used to cover up scams.

 

Either way any change isn't going to happen. As far as a $75 perk I'd be down for that to come in.

 

why make a $75 donation perk when the higher amounts don't have anything special really.

 

Good point, there already is $100 rank so it really doesn't mean much. Maybe $150/$250
