Windows 7

[Jimmy]

My laptop qualifies for a free upgrade from Vista.

Should I do it?

[MegaMatt]

Sure?
its better IMO

Absolutely. It is much better than Vista. (At least in my opinion.)

[white_razor0]

a guy showed me it on his laptop today, cracked copy, but his windows folder was 10GB, that's either something really wrong or he's done something wrong, i can get XP installed for under 1.5GB

[Fatih]

Heck yes! It's amazing and I absolutely love it.

[Guide]

Wish I could upgrade it.. my cd/dvd drive doesn't support dvd booting.

[v Angel v]

It's really good I'm going to uninstall my OS X86 and install 7 instead.
Maybe after Christmas since I'm getting some RAM and new graphics card.

So I highly recommend.

[Jimmy]

Alright, looks like I'ma do it.

Thanks, guys.

[v Angel v]

No prob jimmy enjoy it!

[Goomba]

Haha, yeah you shouldnt even think about not doing it,

but the upgrade isnt free, its like $24 for postage lol

i have the same thing but for my laptop which i get for xmas

[Syed]

I'm dual booting it atm, but I much rather use my XP. Tbh why did you even have vista, windows 7 ftw.

Please don't kill kittens by using Windows 7. Let Microsoft know you won't accept their horrible business practices!

You asked in general.
Likewise.

Ubuntu is really good too hard to adapt to it IMO.

Yeah, I believe it's probably mainly because no one develops high-end software for it, and wine isn't good enough to keep up with all of the windows supported software.

If CS3, WoW, CSS, etc, were all supported on ubuntu, I think more people would use it .

[333]

Do it, it's much faster.

[yo123]

^ it really is :]

Why do you even have XP? Outdated piece of crap.

Windows 7 is indeed brilliant. I got a legit key from a magical pixie faerie in IRC (You know who you are, move love ).

[wizardzgame]

Yes? It's sure as hell a lot better than Vista and XP
