Newest

I haven't made anything since I was a graphics mod, which was far back before summer, even. I wanted to see what people thought of my newest sig (currently in my forum signature) and possibly some advice.

A few FYIs:
-I don't use tutorials
-I don't go by any styles, I just do whatever
-This is supposed to be dark and the text is supposed to be only visible to the point of barely being legible
-I was trying to go for a grungy-type sig without actually using anything grunge

Negative space is Lethal.

 

Nice, this is really nice.

 

The skull is a bit too bright in my opinion.

 

Way too much black space. Seems like the actual signature should be 100x50 pixels. Because the black doesn't add anything to the signature.

 

negative space would be nicer without the border, and if you're going to have a considerable negative space, then move the render about 20px closwer to the centre, so the rule of thirds applies.

slightly confusing focal since the high contrast render and background.

I like it though
