Paypal dispute help.

Hello. Well a while ago i sold a runescape account to usfine. And just today they said that the account was hacked which i had no involvement at all. And told me that if i don't help them get the account back with in 3 day's they will dispute the money back.

My question is, that i have already used the money. And i have 0 money in my paypal or do i have a credit card. And my paypal is not connected to any bank. And the worst part is that all the recovery question and information of the account have been lost after i reformatted pc =\. I seriously didn't think i would be force to help them if the guy got his own account hacked.

Can i get in trouble if i don't pay them back? I don't want to pay them back for something i didn't do. Even if i wanted to pay them back i couldn't. I have no money in paypal. And when i say can i get in "trouble" i mean will i be fined by paypal for not refunding. Or would i be in deep shit with the financial agent?

 

One would think that it was Usfines fault for the hacking.
They are just trying to grab money from you.

If it was connected to a CC/Bank, they would charge shit from there, etc. But now, since you have 0$ + not linked to anything, they can't do shit. Except, maybe they can take the money back from where you sent what you had, so like the shop you bought shit from, which, I presume, will cause you to get in deep shit if you've already received the money's worth.

 

same thing happened to me. Except my account was linked to a bank so i just deleted that paypal account lol.

 

My acc went to -$140. I just made a new paypal like nothing happened

 

They sell your information if you go negative I think, I believe its in the terms of agreement.
