Resignation

So there aren't any rumors being spread, I'm going to make this public.

I don't like being one of the only staff members moderating the forum. Chase and I easily had more contributions than all of the globals and sectionals combined(2 v 13). Yeah you guys are awesome to talk to, but nevertheless you don't fulfill your duties! Do some scam reports for once; you have permanent ban powers for a reason.

I know they're annoying, I can testify to that, but it's part of your duties.

With that I'm going to resign. I don't see myself returning to staff, especially as a market moderator,(assuming I'd even be re-invited) for awhile. I'm going to focus more on school and hope something is done to revamp the site.

The system is flawed here. From how it's nearly impossible to find an admin for a password reset or again the inactively/scam reports/how long it takes an admin to fulfill a TWC request. Promote MegaMatt to admin as he's relatively easy to reach on MSN. Chase should be global along with SuF.

Like before I was staff, I plan to post in offtopic again. It would be a waste for me to stop middlemanning, so I'll be doing that too on an occasional basis.

I agree... something needs to be done about the scam section. I would much rather see the report a spammer section up to 20 pages than the report a scammer.

I made a thread a while ago, would take a mod 5 minutes to look over it and ban the person.

If you were referring to your pending TWC request, I had already banned him the same day. In general though, if you were to PM Finn, Pen, or I with something that needs to be taken care of, we'll do it.

I also try to get on my public MSN at least once a week to deal with pass resets, although if the IP has changed since their registration and the account was hacked (hence recent IP's/emails are unreliable), it's not always easy to sort out.

Hmm, such a shame. I really liked you, Nick. You helped me when others ignored me, and for that, I thank you. I know most people assume you're just doing your "duties" when you do a report or just help over MSN, but really, it's your free time that you're giving us.
