700 Billion Dollar Bailout : DENIED.

I don't get it, the US has trillions of dollars of debt, and still they keep spending so much money out of nowhere. If America had to pay it all back, I'd bet they'd be as poor as a 3rd world country.

Also, the crisis is affecting us in Europe too, banks have gone bankrupt too.

 

omg a depression because the dow had a drop of 700+ points in 1 day! too bad it climbed about 500 points the very next day. the amount of points it dropped may be the most points in a single day but that doesn't matter. its the percentage drop that matters and this doesn't even rank in the top 10 all time for percentage drops in a single day. just leave it alone and it will fix itself, just like it did about 20 years ago when it dropped 21% in a day. btw this drop was less than 7% and like i said it gained a lot of those points back the very next day.

i didn't read all the other posts so someone may have already said something like this.

edit- just went back and read a few posts and saw somebody say about 10,000 people lost their houses in the last few days. well guess what? its their own fault for trying to pay a mortgage they couldn't afford. next time just get a fucking apartment until you save enough money to be able to afford that house you want.

 

My guess is that it will be passed eventually. Nationalising banks isn't communism as some Americans fear, and if their economy bites the dust so hard it significantly affects their personal lives then they will pass it like any other decree.

Even if the bill is passed, it wont even scratch the surface on the amount of word that still needs to be done. That will just increase the deficit even more. I think that will push it over 10 trillion? (for those of you who don't, it takes 1,000 billions to equal 1 trillion, and we are over 9 trillion in debt as we speak. ) Well regardless, we need to get the hell out of this corrupt country before it collapses.
